A stunning, Victorian oil on canvas of a Horse & Jockey.
Depicting a jockey on horse in side profile with a rich use of colour and fine paint strokes. The detail is exceptional to the horse's form and this desirable piece would be appreciated by both equestrian enthusiasts and art lovers alike.
This piece has been restored by our specialist fine art restorer and is in very good overall order. Naturally aged with some minor signs of stretched canvas on the upper left side (pictured), showcasing its history and adding character over time.
Sits within a fine, gilt frame in excellent condition commensurate with usage, with hanging thread on the back ready for immediate home wall display.
