Description
A fine Mahogany Barometer by Torre & Co of London.This elegant example contains a veneered shell inlay either side of the enclosed thermometer with further decorative veneered detail at the top of the Barometer and underneath the silvered dial at the bottom. The wood is in excellent antique condition and shows a wonderful patina throughout.
The silvered dial is engraved 'Torre & Co London' and is encased behind a glazed dome.
