A superb Elizabeth I, English Oak, Wainscot Chair.The back rest features a simple double panel design underneath a hand carved relief that stretches across the width of the chair. Leaf motifs decorate the top edge of the back section, within a classically shaped frame and structure, sitting on top of two lathed front legs and simple yet elegant squared rear legs.
This beautiful piece adds a touch of class and character to a bedroom, study or hallway area.
