British Officer's Military Campaign ChestA striking Officer's Mahogany Military Campaign Chest, with contrasting brass hardware.
The chest dates back to the turn of the 19th century. Its beautifully patinated mahogany exterior, bound by brass hardware, sits over 4 turned ball feet.
The chest splits horizontally into two sections, each with an opposing brass carrying handle. The drawer fronts feature recessed brass pulls, framed within attractive elongated octagonal surrounds, giving this piece real presence, along with the binding brass corners from top to bottom.
A handsome collectable piece for enthusiasts of Military Campaign furniture.
