Fabulous 20th Century Life size Great Dane Garden Statue

Beautiful dog seated in an upright calm, attentive position, with its head turned slightly to one side as if observing something nearby.
Carved from recon stone or cast concrete, giving it a solid, substantial appearance and is extremely heavy! The statue is covered with patches of green moss, lichen, and natural discoloration, suggesting it has been outdoors for many years. This weathering adds character and a sense of age

The sculptor has emphasized the dog's long muzzle, drooping ears, and loose jowls, creating a gentle, dignified expression.
