Description

Late 19th century Bronze statue of Egyptian Water Bearer by French artist Eutrope Bouret (1833-1906). This is a finely cast bronze statue of a folded drapery clad figure carrying a water jar. She is leaning on an Egyptian pillar decorated with hieroglyphics. The pillar based is signed 'Bourety'. This figure is in very good condition and a lovely colour overall. There is no visible wear.

The figure stands approximately 35cm high, 14cm wide at base and 11cm deep.
