Description

George V 1821 pattern Cavalry sword in its steel scabbard. Triple bar guard with chequered pommel and ribbed shagreen grip (wire missing). Broad plated blade acid etched with GVR, Crown and foliage. Royal coat of arms on reverse side. Numbered on the back strap 2753 (?) and marked as by John Jones, Regent St, London. General wear over and with some wear to blade plating but in sound overall condition.

Approximately 105cm overall and blade 88.5cm.
