A good quality Georgian Sheraton type mahogany bookcase cupboard. This late 19th century Victorian/Edwardian 2 two part small narrow mahogany bookcase has a dentil moulded cornice with fine astragal glazing bars on two opening doors containing a flight of adjustable display shelves. The base has two locked doors opening to reveal a further shelved area. The whole is inlaid with tulipwood cross banding the base having two central flame oval mahogany panels contained within boxwood stringing all raised on shaped splay hepplewhite type feet. This piece has been fully restored and is ready to place in the home. Circa 1940. Excellent condition.
