A rare and superior antique 19th century Victorian glazed pier side cabinet. This wonderful English jewellery display curio collectors bijouterie vitrine display is constructed in brass with an ebony and glazed door. It has the unusual and desirable feature of having glass sides and canted glazed corners. Internally there is a full set of adjustable shelves which could even be used as a bookcase or bookshelves. The same example exists in one of the leading national Trust Halls in the Midlands. In excellent condition and ready to place in your home. Circa 1870. Measures 55”h x 33”w 14”d.
