A stunning quality open Regency Georgian 19th century rosewood waterfall bookcase of extremely rare design with wonderful bead and reel detailing to graduated shelves united by c-scrolls and compressed bows which has been in the same family for the last 200 years and is firmly attributed to the makers of Gillow. Lancaster. The whole raised on the classically detailed compressed lobed feet associated with Gillows. The top surmounted by gilt bronze mounts. C.1815. Excellent condition with great colour.
