Victorian French gilt clock garniture with Blue Serves Porcelain Panels,Very unusual small size clock set for this period,and in lovely condition for its age. The gilt clock is embossed all overwith some very unusual patterns.The hand painted enamel dial is of butterfly`s amongst the flora. Below the dial is a hand painted panel depicting a mother with two putti.The pair of side urn/vases are floral painted on one side and painted with Mother with child to match the clock. The 8 day movement is in good working order and is stamped Japy Freres a good Paris maker strikes on a bell on the hours and half hours. A good Honest clock set and as good as you will find anywhere.Movement going strong and tested for two weeks keeps perfect time.
