A fine well painted victorian/edwardian oil on canvas painted around the turn of the century.A scottish loch scene with boats in the foreground and slightly misty hills in the background,very atmospheric, some people on the banks of the loch and some activity on the smaller rowing boats. Signed by the artist but am unable to find any information about him/her.However a very professional painting by an experienced hand, please examine for the fine details in the rigging etc.been relined and reframed with a period style giltwood distressed frame, proffessionally done probably in last 10 years or thereabouts the frame is of heavy quality.
