Description

English Civil War iron cannon ball in very nice condition, no damage just a few blow holes around one area. I was lucky enough to put purchase 3 of these from a family near Chester who's father had found them on grassland with a metal detector not far from The Battle of Rowton Heath, also known as the Battle of Rowton Moor, which occurred on 24 September 1645 during the English Civil War.
3 were found over a 2 year period, this is the last one, the others have also sold. Saker cannon size and weighing 5.590lbs, nearly a 6 pounder which is right for the cannon size.
