King Charles 1st Silver Royalist Clasp

Description
A scarce 17th century silver supporter's jewellery clasp, possibly from a bracelet or necklace.Showing support for the executed king and I imagine worn amongst like minded people at the time.
Note the pearl earring which Charles wore only in the left ear.
I have not seen any evidence of Charles wearing a execution cap but this would have been made after the event and someone's take on it who most likely never witnessed it.
