English late 17th century silver Posey ring, some light marks here and there due to it being an old excavated item.

The inner verse reads - Love Enveth Not. Notice the I is missing from Enveth. The jewellers and engravers were not the best spellers in the past. Love envieth not" means that love does not experience jealousy or resentment towards the accomplishments,
The 17th century saw widespread use of "love envieth not" from the Bible, particularly the passage in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, which describes love as patient, kind, and not envious. The phrase "love envieth not" was used to define the characteristics of true love, emphasizing its selfless and non-jealous nature.
