Description

Superb Art Deco sideboard or side cabinet c.1930. Useful small size, just 47½" long. Original pale grey marble top with shaped front edge. Over two drawers and a two door cupboard fitted with a single shelf inside (internal depth 14½"). Highly figured pale burr elm veneers laid in a symmetrical pattern across the front and sides. With a spectacular gilded brass mount at the centre of the doors featuring winged cherubs surrounded with scrolling foliage and holding palm fronts across which is a ring or crown of stars. Original handles and polished brass trim below the drawers. Minor wear to the marble with a small repair to the front edge. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
