Description

Unusual George III chest of drawers being in elm c.1820. A charming piece of Georgian country furniture and useful small size, just 37" wide. Elm top with an applied edge over four drawers of graduated height. Solid elm drawer fronts of particularly attractive grain with moulded edges and period brass handles and escutcheons. Raised on shaped bracket feet at the front. Single piece pine sides with a shaped detail at the bottom to form the feet. Some old wear, generally very good condition and lovely honey coloured timber. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
