Description

Handsome bronze desktop sculpture of an Alsatian by the celebrated French sculptor Jules Edmond Masson (1871-1932). Faithful and alert looking Alsatian with a collar, posed sat on it's haunches. Very well cast in bronze with a green patinated finish. Presented on a black slate plinth. Signed JE Masson on the plinth. With a small rub to the finish on both back thighs and some discolouration to the stone. Otherwise excellent condition.
