Description

Beautiful late 19th.c. stationery cabinet c.1880. In pale oak with two doors opening to reveal a fitted interior divided into sections for paper, envelopes, pens and ink. With a calender display in the top (with a hidden compartment below) complete with original month, date and day cards. The inside of the doors provide a space to tuck slips of paper and an ivorine panel on which to jot notes in pencil. With a single mahogany lined drawer in the base which is held closed with a brass pin when the doors are closed. Excellent condition. With original brass piano hinges, escutcheon and handle. Key supplied.
