Description

Empire style mahogany open armchairs c.1810. Shapely frames with delightful carved detail to the scrolling arm supports and front legs. The flower like athemion detail at the side below the arm is a typical Regency era motif borrowed from Classical Greek architecture. Unrestored by us they are in very good condition with a particularly good colour and what appears to be their original tapestry covers.
