Fine pair of large French open armchairs c.1900. High backs and sprung seat upholstered in superb original needlepoint tapestry covers with large brass studs and tassel braid. Carved walnut frames with acanthus leaf detail and large stylised lion’s heads to the arms. Shapely legs and stretchers with claw feet to the front and rear. Very good condition with clean covers.
