Description

Sturdy Edwardian era mill trolley by the British makers Slingsby c.1910. Wooden boards on an iron chassis with two large iron wheels at the centre and a single wheel at each end allowing it to rock for easy steering. Originally for moving wool bales around one of the great mills, it would make a great feature in an industrial interior, ideal for storing logs, linens etc. Original handle and maker’s label, the wheels are also cast with the Slingsby name.
