Description
Superb mid 19th.c. fireguard c.1860. Iron frame and criss-cross wirework body with polished brass top rail and base. With an additional brass rail to the top for the drying and airing of clothes. The spark catcher base appears to have been cut at some time. Otherwise excellent original condition.Dimensions: width 49″, depth 14″, height 27″.
