Description

Superb pair of large open armchairs with tapestry covers c.1920. Tall backs and generously proportioned seats upholstered in a woven tapestry fabric with courtly figures and animals within a foliate pattern border. Exceptional shapely walnut frames with carved detail to the arms, the apron and all four legs which are joined with shaped and moulded stretchers. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
