Description

Splendid pair of French Belle Epoch Louis XV style open armchairs c.1900. Shapely carved wooden frames with pierced detail to the top rails, swept arms with upholstered tops, and a graceful curve to the front legs, retaining their original gilding. Upholstered backs and sprung seats in a ribbed chenille fabric, serviceable but with some marks. Good condition, with some minor damage to the gilding. We also have a matching couch for sale.
