Description

Lovely early 19th.c. oak open Cheshire dresser base c.1830. Beautiful single piece oak top with a broad crossbanded mahogany border and moulded edge over three large drawers. Cockbeaded drawer fronts, crossbanded to match and with large turned oak knobs. Raised on attractive turned and tapering legs with neat turned collar above the foot. Solid oak sides, deal drawer linings and backboard. Some minor marks to the top and obvious old damage at the rear of the right hand side of the dresser. Otherwise excellent colour and condition with repairs to the feet, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
