Description

Handsome pair of Regency mahogany open armchairs c.1820. Solid mahogany frames with curved top rails featuring a carved floral detail repeated in the stretcher below and slim elegantly shaped arms with scrolling terminals. Over loose seat pads freshly upholstered in a silver and grey patterened flatweave fabric. Raised on Gillow’s style turned and reeded front legs and gracefully shaped rear stiles. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
