Description
Elegant early 20th.c. bronze bust of the Madonna c.1930. Head and shoulders length bust of the Madonna with eyes downcast. Crisply cast in bronze with coloured finish to the clothing framing the gold of the face. Annotated Donatello in the cast on the rear and stamped with marks for the French foundry Chardon. On a simple green marble base. Excellent condition.Dimensions: Width 14" Height 14" Depth 6"
