Description

Vintage 20th.c. Persian tribal village Hamadan carpet or rug c.1950. Hand knotted wool with quite a long pile. The design features a large central cartouche filled with a lively collection of floral and animal inspired motifs and (quite unusually) a couple of human figures. Multiple borders and a short tassel fringe at both ends. Good condition.
