Description

This is a first edition, three volume set of The Dictionary of English Furniture was written by Percy Macquoid and Ralph Edwards and published by Country Life in 1924.

Bound in original publisher's green gilt cloth, the books are in reasonable condition, although the cloth has come away from the spine in Volume III and has started to come away at the top of Volume I. The spines are also rather bumped.

Internally, Volume II is in very good condition, apart from the first 16 pages being slightly loose. In the other two volumes, there are a number of loose pages and the bindings are coming away from the spines. Quite a few of the pages are also frayed at the edges.

The books are folio sized, measuring 41cm x 30cm x 4cm.
