A large antique 19th Century Chinese bronze sectional jardinière, c1870. This is a large and impressive piece, which breaks down into sections.

It is nicely cast and decorated extensively with birds and foliage over the bowl and stem. It has aged well, with good colour/patina, and overall condition is good - with only minor surface wear/rubbing and a few very small dents.

A few of the lugs which lock the sections into place have worn slightly, so it \'wobbles\' if moved, but is structurally sound and stands well.
