Description

Two large mid 20th century African Benin bronze busts, c1950.

Both are well cast in the traditional lost wax method, heavy (combined weight 4.3kg) and with good decoration. They have the usual casting holes etc associated with African bronzes and overall condition is good with only minor wear and rubbing. Both have aged well with good colour/patina.
