Beautiful large 19th century gothic revival desk/table, c1820.

This is a fine, heavy and decorative example that would work well as a desk or a hall/occasional table. The table is highly carved to the drawers, bulbous front baluster supports and the edge off the table top. The drawers are stamped Edwards and Roberts and have original locks and brass ring handles. It has a great curved base and has taken on a lovely deep rich colour/patina following years of use.

Overall condition is good in line with age and use with minor marks, rubbing to the wood.
