A beautiful pair of Old English pattern silver tablespoons by the renowned female silversmith, Hester Bateman. The spoons are decorated with her trademark bright cut stems incorporating a cartouche engraved with the initials 'GG'. The spoons show little sign of wear. The London Hallmark dates them for 1781.
