Description

This heart shaped, hobnail cut, glass jar has a star cut base and a silver lid. The lid which is 'art nouveau' in style is decorated with repousse work depicting flowers and foliage with a central roundel of a female head. It has a vacant cartouche. The hallmark is for Birmingham 1904 with a makers mark for Boots Pure Drug Company. The glass is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It measures 8cm x 7cm with a depth of 2.8cm and would grace any dressing table.
