A rare vintage male display mannequins dating from the 1950s, retaining their original character and period styling. Featuring realistically modelled faces, sculpted hairstyles and athletic torso forms, each mannequin is mounted on a black painted metal pedestal stand with adjustable support column.

Constructed from moulded composition/fibreglass and finished in a natural flesh-tone colour, these mannequins would originally have been used in a department store, tailor's shop or fashion retailer. Their elegant mid-century design captures the optimistic commercial styling of the post-war era.

The figure display age-related wear throughout, including surface marks, crazing, small repairs and losses consistent with decades of retail use, adding to their authenticity and charm.

These mannequins make excellent decorative pieces for retail interiors, fashion displays, photography studios or private collections of vintage shop fittings
