Pair of 1930s Art Deco Ceramic Figures with mirror backs.
We really don't have to say very much here do we, the pictures speak for themselves. These figures are an absolute delight and we completely fell inlove with them. Each opposing figure depicts a 1920's lady in a restful pose both wearing evening wear. The original mirroring more than likely suffered with foxing and so at some point the mirror has been replaced. The detailing, particulary in the dresses looks wonderful and much like a painting should be viewed at a distance rather than close up.
How great would these look on a dressing table or mantlepiece. The condition is excellent, however the back of the green lady has a slot for the mirror to fit into and that has suffered some historic damage but has been restored. Can't be seen at all from the front or side so both displaying beautifully as intended.
