Description
A rather cheerful 1930’s bottle stopper in the form of Winston Churchill The cork is in tact but due to the delicate painted papier-mâché construction the head has several areas of loss. However, these chips undoubtedly give the piece the vintage character it so fully deserves. This particular Winston has unquestionably been at the top and indeed the bottom of a bottle with his plastic cigar, his jolly face, telling a thousand stories (to those who care to listen).DateEarly 20th Century :
