A Very Fine Quality English 19th Century Bronzed Cast Iron Conservatory Table with pierced foliate top and stretcher, raised on winged gryphon supports. Bears the registration number and stamp. This table was undoubtedly produced by a leading designer and foundry such as Coalbrookdale, and reflects the influence of the French maker Ferdinand Barbedienne (active from 1838 in Paris), and also looks back to classical bronze tripod stands of the Roman era
