Elegant Adam style Carved, Painted & Parcel-gilt "Athenienne", or Bowl Stand, in the manner of Linnell, with original decoration. The brass bowl itself is of superb manufacture and heavy gauge, having seamed joints typical of the earlier period. English, circa 1860. This stand would enhance any room just as it is, or it could be planted with bulbs, filled with gourds or flowers or anything else you can think of.........
