For your consideration Victorian needlework needle work sampler sewn by Elizabeth Sowerby dated 1813.

Ten rows of alphabet and numbers with the little girls name and date on the last but one row.

Really pretty sampler that displays really well as it framed in a double glazed frame so you are able to view the sampler on either side.

The framed sampler measures 37cm in length and 25cm in height.

Excellent condition for it's age, 206 years old. No staining to the cloth and the thread still has good colour. One tiny hole to a on the fifth row.

The photos can probably provide the clearest representation of condition so please examine these carefully.
