A Magnificent Late 17th Century Provincial Antique Oak Court Cupboard / Dresser

Measuring approximately 63 1/2" x 68" x 21 1/2" (width, height, depth)
A rare English oak cupboard of peg and joint construction almost certainly dating from around 1700-12 Queen Ann period.
The upper stage including a later cornice and pretty carved frieze with turned 'acorn' pendants and centred on a beautiful arcaded panel featuring guilloche 'chain' and pretty flower and foliate decorations

All doors are furnished with typical iron butterfly hinges, the lower stage with shelf fitted midway to interior and having a huge storage capacity.

All boards including top, back and base appear to be original, the lowest shelf now having a few gaps commensurate with age.
Some minor evidence of old worm here and there but nothing too detracting.

Superb dark patina throughout.
