A Good c.17th Oak Gate Leg Dining Table

Measuring approximately 50" x 29" x 20" Extending to 58 3/4" (width, height, length)

A rare survivor of a bygone age (c.1680). The well figured top supported by a robust body raised on bold ball and fillet turned legs and conforming gates united by peripheral stretchers, the end stretchers also with well worn ball fillet turnings.
A remarkably long oak cased drawer to one end furnished with original brass pear drop handle.
Rich dark oak patina throughout.

This table could comfortably seat up to eight.
