A Late 17th Century Antique Oak Yorkshire / Derbyshire Backstool Chair.


Measuring approximately 38" X 19" X 19" (height, width, depth) with a seat height of 18"


A good example raised on block and bobbin turned legs.

The shaped back crests finely carved with voluted scrolls, flower head, cross hatching and further decorated with acorn pendants.

The uprights with scrolled terminals and split spindle appliques.
