Description

This stylish Edwardian bracelet is mounted in 9ct gold and features symmetrical navette shape, open work links with Fleur de Lys terminations and centre oval cut almandine garnet 6.6 x 4.65 mm collets.

Almandine is a variety of the garnet family that was in popular use in the late Georgian to Edwardian period. Mainly mind in India and Africa, the almandine typcially has a more purple-red tone with a bright lustre.

The bracelet is beautifully finished with an integral concealed clasp, the tongue of which bears a clear "9CT" stamp and closes with a satisfying and secure "click".

An additional safety feature is the soldered safety chain.

The length is a generous 20cms (7 3/4 inches).
