Description
15ct Edwardian aquamarine and pearl pendant/brooch, featuring a fine blue round cut Aquamarine of Santa Maria type colour in a centre collet setting.The pendant is mounted in yellow gold and designed as an open work four leaf clover motif and set throughout with half seed pearls between 0.75 and 2.1 mm. The pendant has a detachable bail also set with seed pearls, which allows the pendant to be worn unimpeded as a brooch. The reverse has a gold pin and C catch fastener and features a cap stamped "15C" as is typical of 15ct jewellery of this era.
The pendant measures 35.5 x 9mm.
