Large George III Lancashire Chest of Drawers, DresserThis is an exceptionally fine quality piece, it is an 18th century George III chest of Drawers or Dresser circa 1780, it is oak lined and has an oak planked back
The chest has 7 drawers in all, 3 along the top and 2 over another 2 beneath, they have original brass swan neck drop handles and original brass escutcheons, there is a scalloped gallery to the back
The chest stands on ogee feet, and it has very attractive reeded columns at each of the front corners. The chest has a wonderful patina and is in good condition for its age
The chest is 42” high, 68” wide and 23” deep
