Signed Art Nouveau Weathered Statue of a Dancer circa 1960Statue of a Dancing Maiden Sculpted in White Marble Signed Papini
A signed marble “di latte” (crushed composite marble) sculpture.
The sculpture is of a young dancer swirling her ribbons and her hair flowing, she is posing on a ball decorated with Roses, like the one she is holding in her hand, this is set on a hexagonal pedestal
The statue is signed “PAPINI A” for the Papini (Agostino SNC) company in the Rignano Flaminio., it is is in slightly weathered condition but generally very good and very beautiful
She is 67” tall, 19” wide and 13” deep
