Art Deco Odeon Style Settee by Mobelfabrik
This is a stylish Scandinavian piece it is an Art Deco Banquet or Settee made around 1920 in Mahogany, the label on the inside of the cupboard reads BRODRENE OLLENDORFF, MOBELFABRIK CHRISTIANA
The settee with its original upholstery is in the middle flanked on each side by Odeon style cabinets, the cabinets each have three compartments, one at the top, one at the bottom and a locker with a lift up flap in the centre which is maple lined
The mahogany top rail over the settee is inlaid matching the rest of the inlay on the door fronts and top of the cabinets
The banquet is in sound condition, the wood work is good but the upholstery though original is very tatty but it would be a simple task to recover.
The settee dismantles for transportation, when assembled it is 88” long, 43” high and it is 30” deep
