A Superb French Carved Mahogany Rococo Château 5ft Double Bed,

This is a beautifully carved piece from the South of France near the Spanish border, the high headboard is crested with elaborate Scrolls and Rococo Swags and it has an upholstered centre panel

The foot board is very low in the Rococo style with flower carved finials at each corner, even the sides of the bed are carved, this style of bed displays linens beautifully

This is a superb piece it is around 150 years old it is in good condition, with only a little age related wear, we can have the upholstered panel covered in your own fabric if required
The bed dismantles for transportation and comes with a new wooden slated base, it only requires a mattress
The bed is 52” high, 87” long has 65” wide, it required a 5ft x 76” mattress
